At Ready-Set-Avatar, we believe that your virtual identity should be as unique and personal as you are. Our journey began with a desire to help individuals create avatars that truly represent who they are beyond the virtual world of VRChat. As a previous client myself, I had my Ready Player Me model head sliced and placed onto a usable male body that I could identify with more. I’ve also had several outfits added to my avatar that truly express who I am. I’m now collaborating with Julian as a new partner, together we continue to refine and evolve avatars to better reflect each client. I’ve seen firsthand how adjusting and modifying my avatar to better reflect myself has helped me come out of my shell in VRChat. It has given me more confidence and helped me establish my identity within the virtual world.VRChat users often start with public avatars, but these avatars lose their uniqueness when others use the same model. We wanted to change that by helping people create avatars that are distinctly theirs—avatars that empower self-expression and boost confidence in the virtual space. How We Do It

Before we begin, we ask our clients about the avatar they currently use and whether they truly enjoy using a public model. If they have specific body accessories or clothing they love, we can try to find similar items on platforms like Jinxy or Gumroad. We then provide them with a Ready Player Me head and seamlessly blend it with a custom body of their choosing.Personalized Avatar Creation
We start by helping clients upload a picture of themselves to the Ready Player Me website.
The generated avatar file (GLB format) is then downloaded and modified.Customization
The avatar's head is separated and placed onto a base body that aligns with the client’s desired look, whether it's male, female, toned, or non-toned.
We explore platforms like Gumroad and Jinxy to find the perfect base body.

Styling
We assist clients in selecting outfits that resonate with their personal style.
Hairstyles are chosen based on their preferences, from short to long styles or unique designs.Integration & Optimization
Once all elements are chosen, we blend them together seamlessly in Blender.
The finalized model is tested for compatibility and uploaded to Unity for further refinement.

Final Delivery
The completed avatar is uploaded to the client's VRChat account.
We provide a Unity file along with all assets for their safekeeping, ensuring that clients have full control over their avatar for future updates, modifications, or troubleshooting. This allows them to easily make changes or enhancements without needing to start from scratch.

Requirements for Commissioning an Avatar

Pricing: Our commissions typically range from $60 to $90 US, depending on the complexity of the model. Additional outfits and accessories may increase the cost.To ensure a smooth and successful avatar creation process, we require the following:Direct Contact: We will need a way to stay in touch with you via Discord or Facebook Messenger. This is important for answering any questions you may have, providing updates during the creation process, and assisting with the avatar upload to your account.

Beta Testing & Updates: Direct communication will also allow us to guide you through beta testing, address any potential issues, and provide support for future updates such as adding new clothing or features.Payment Guidance: We will provide clear instructions on how to make the payment for your commission and ensure a secure transaction process.We understand that commissioning a custom avatar might feel overwhelming, especially if it's your first time. Ready-Set-Avatar operates as a service-based business that customizes and modifies VRChat avatars using legally purchased base models and assets. All assets utilized in our projects have been obtained through legitimate purchases, and we do not claim ownership over any third-party models, clothing, or accessories beyond the modifications we make.The base models used for avatar creation are purchased from:Zinpia – Male & Female Base Models, ClothingMoonJellyVR – Oversized HoodieTheSmokedNinja – Various assetsSaikura – Romper OutfitRinebean – Various outfits including Comfy Set, Male Outfit 001, Cutie Nitro Outfit, and more.All of these assets have been personally purchased by Harry X for use in Ready-Set-Avatar projects. Any additional outfits not included in this list must be purchased separately by the client to obtain the necessary license for their personal use.Asset Usage & RestrictionsReady-Set-Avatar does not resell, redistribute, or offer any of these assets as standalone products.We only use assets that we have legally purchased, and any new outfit or model requested by a client must be obtained by them directly.Clients must ensure they have the appropriate license for any current and additional assets they wish to incorporate into their avatars.All avatar modifications are tailored specifically for the client’s personal use and are not intended for mass distribution.Ready Player Me Model UsageAs per Ready Player Me’s policies, any modifications made to their models comply with their licensing terms.
